Dear Blog Peeps,
It’s likely Thanksgiving where you are, but it’s just another day here on the tiny island of Grenada. Still, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments every week and your support.
It’s really fun to check my e-mail and see all of your feedback coming in. I feel like I know many of you quite well, and I love the community that we share here.
When I started my blog as a creative outlet during grad school, I never dreamed that I would meet so many great people. I certainly didn’t think it would become something that generated a part time income. I’m especially grateful to the other bloggers who have featured me and hired me to be a contributor writer. There’s nothing in the world that I would rather be doing than writing, and I’m very lucky that I get to sit in peaceful solitude and churn out thousands of words a week for blogs across the web.
I would also like to give a huge thanks to the hubs, who despite studying a good 10-12 hours a day still manages to catch my typos before I hit publish. I appreciate that he lets me work on this little business to my heart’s content. It’s an extremely busy and demanding time for both of us, but I feel great knowing that we’re taking this whole med-school/foreign country living/crazy life thing one day at a time.
I’ll wrap it up here before the tears start flowing, but I wanted to let you know dear blog peeps that I very much appreciate everything you do to support this site. Moving to an unfamiliar place was much easier knowing I had friends like you to catch up with every week. I hope all of you have a very happy Thanksgiving.
