Chalk it Up to Spring Fever

Well, y’all, it’s never too late to decorate your house with sidewalk chalk. :) Yep, $1.00 sidewalk chalk in the shape of Easter eggs from Target make pretty good decorations in my humble opinion.
I added those to this $2.00 Christmas ornament that I bought on sale last January at JCPenney…
and jazzed them up in my collection of jars using some Spanish moss that was $2.50ish after a 40% off coupon at Michaels:

All of my jars are either from thrift stores or gifted by my hubs last Christmas:

This little glass bowl is from the Dollar Tree:

And here’s how they look all grouped together on the dining room table:

Since we’re moving, I really didn’t want to purchase too many new decorations. So that chalk did just the trick! All together, this project cost me under $5.00. Now if only I had a chalk board around here somewhere, then those eggs could make themselves more useful!
How are your spring/Easter decorations coming along?
P.S. To see my sick sense of humor, check out how I decorated with those jars for Halloween and again recently for Mardi Gras.

Super cute! I should do that, then we’d use the chalk on the sidewalk afterwards and get double for our money!
