You might remember my drab-to- fab dresser from this post. I had a blast painting it a sleek blue to match our new bed set. Here’s a refresher picture of what it looked like:
Well, I’ve been hunting for a cool and unique way to store my jewelry on top of my dresser. Recently, on a routine trip to an antique store, I saw a fabulous antique printer’s tray and eureka, inspiration sparked. I love reading and books (heck, I get paid to read in grad school), so a printer’s tray just felt so me. The one I found was $20.00, but I found them for less on a recent eBay search. The great thing is that it fits so snugly on top of my dresser. Here it is:

Do I wish that I could see a little bit more blue on the top of my dresser? Yes. But, with limited storage options and the fact that I wanted my jewelry choices at my fingertips, this seemed like the perfect fit for me.
Well, what do y’all think? Anyone else have a printer’s tray or score some fun antiques lately? Spill the beans!
